Who are we?
I-design-websites is a small team of enthusiastic co-workers under the direction of graduate engineer Katherina Trumpf.
Qualification and Experience
After she successfully finished her studies Electrical Engineering with a main focus on Communication Systems Engineering and Digital Signal Processing at the University of Paderborn, Mrs. Trumpf went to Munich.
There, she established and managed the department for technical documentation and information at the Munich high-tech company for space and system technology Kayser-Threde GmbH.
During the period of 10 years that Mrs. Trumpf fulfilled this function, she acquired her qualifications in the area of technical documentation and media design. Her activities ranged from the preparation of technical manuals to providing product online-support, creating the company's website, designing print media etc etc.
Subsequently, she moved to Athens to work for the international company INTRACOM S.A., the largest corporate group for Telecommunication and IT-Technology in Greece.
There, in the range of marketing and IT, Mrs. Trumpf programmed and designed the graphics and the content of the web portal of the company, the websites of affiliated companies, the online help-portals as well as the intranet for the whole company. Similarly, she co-managed a project to improve the quality management of technical documentation. During this 8-year period of her career, Mrs. Trumpf further developed her qualifications considerably in the field of online publishing with profound knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, SAP Netweaver and others.
Since 2 years, Mrs. Trumpf works in the field of tourism and web design.
Flexibility
Apart from the approximately 20 years of practical experience that Mrs. Trumpf acquired in high-tech companies in the area of space technology, telecommunication and information technology in Munich and Athens as well as in tourist businesses in Greece, her expertise is complemented by the specific skills of qualified freelancers all over Europe with whom she cooperates in the fields of translation, graphic design and programming.
